DUNKAROOS IS LAUNCHING SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH THAT’S COMPLETE WITH FROSTING AND SPRINKLES


It was a beautiful day when we found out that Dunkaroos was returning to shelves. After all, they were in our lives form 1992 to 2002, and then were suddenly gone from our snack rotation. Betty Crocker must be really trying to make it up to us, because Dunkaroos cookie dough is on the way!

This news sounds too good to be true, but the brand itself made the big announcement on Instagram. “Something BIGGER is coming! Now introducing limited edition Dunkaroos sugar cookie dough and frosting. You can now DIY and customize your Dunkaroos with 6 large cookies or 24 mini cookies,” the caption reads.

Let’s break this down: The Dunkaroos Sugar Cookie Dough can be made into six large cookies or 24 mini cookies. It sounds like the package is filled with a slab of (not-safe-to-eat-raw) dough that isn’t necessarily cut yet, so you get to make the decision on their size. The details on the packaging indicate that there is vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles, just like the flavor that returned this year. However, it’s unclear if they come separately or are mixed into the dough. Based on the caption saying you can DIY them, it sounds like they’re separate and you can coat or dip them the way you please.

There’s one big piece of this Dunkaroos puzzle missing, and that’s when it’ll be coming to stores. We’re just excited as you are about this news, so we’ll keep you updated the second we know more! Way to turn 2020 around just a little bit, Dunkaroos.
